1st Fix

I have experience in first fix from new build homes, extensions, decking, out buildings and restorations. This work generally involves timber framing (joisting floors, stud walls, cut and pitch roofs, flat roofs, structural flooring), oak framing, fitting staircases, external windows and doors.

2nd Fix

I was lucky to learn from a carpenter who specialised in 2nd fix carpentry and therefore learnt quick and effective ways to produce a high quality end result. This work generally comprises of hanging doors, skirting, architrave, laminate and engineered flooring, kitchen fitting and shelving.

Joinery

I have designed, built and fitted bespoke joinery, both modern and traditional. Some of this includes internal and external doors, windows, staircases, kitchens, bathroom units, wardrobes, moulding matching and bookcases.

Other

I have what may seem like a passion for woodworking as I am always finding myself building things in my spare time such as my electric guitar. I like the freedom of making things for myself. I am currently mid way through building an off grid tiny house.

Furniture is something that has always interested me and given me great pleasure to make. I have started making one-off pieces such as, tables and chairs to sell in shops and online (Instagram).

I was also lucky enough to work on a 1926 Renault NN which involved stripping of the body replacing any rotten pieces, rebuilding the ash sub chassis, panelling its inside, making glue laminated wheel arches. and refitting the body.
